Alexis Bendickson
Undergraduate researcher, University of Alabama in Huntsville. She follows one question across every project: who gets to tell the story — and what does the telling license?
Alexis is a political science and philosophy student at UAH (B.A. expected 2028), with a sociology minor and a pre-law certificate. Her research method is the same everywhere she works: build the database first, grade every claim against the evidence, publish the archive in public, and correct it in public when the evidence moves.
The Curated Sky is her open investigation into the UFO phenomenon — not whether it is real, but who narrates it, who benefits from the narration, and what the narrative licenses. The archive holds 1,700+ database rows, hundreds of graded claims, and the government documents themselves, and it grows in public: every research wave is folded into the data, the paper, and this site, with corrections logged, never silent.
Her position, stated plainly: there is a real phenomenon with real evidence — and the modern “disclosure” wave is largely theater built on top of it. This site grades claims on evidence, either way. Read the full argument on the Thesis page.
